Junior Jamboree Summary.  The girls and parents had a great time at Junior Jamboree despite the cold (35 degrees) and rain all day on Saturday, a bit windy too.  Friday night started out sunny and we set up no problems.  Then temperature got a little cold during the night but we did ok.  We woke up Saturday to very over cast and threatening weather.  We decided to gather wood for our fire right away so we could keep it dry.  It rained most the day and was very windy.  We went back to our site a few times and tried to keep what we could off the floor to stay dry.  That nasty rain had other ideas.  We tried to protect our tent as best we could but the rain still got everything wet, and I mean everything!  The building behind our tent is restrooms but attached to that building to the right of the picture would be a small hall.  I believe there were 4 different troops sleeping in there on Saturday night.  We had big thunderstorms that night also.  I'm sure glad we decided to sleep indoors, I don't think anyone would have gotten any sleep at all had we stayed outdoors.  All in All the trip was a great experience and we had lots of fun.  Some parts were enjoyed more than others and we'd do it again, even in the rain.
