Cadettes
Purple Pansy Cadette Crew

Please visit our Cadette Picture Gallery to see some pictures of things we've done over the year.

Here we are as 2nd year Cadettes, obviously this is a picture from when we did Brownie Fun day in a community park this summer. Girls from left to right are: Megan, Courtney, Amanda, Erin, Alex and Jessica.

What have we done in our first year as Cadettes?

We went to a work shop and earned our first IPP in November
We baked cookies and donated them to St Bens shelter in Milwaukee
Had a successful cookie sale and had a cookie booth at a local store that earned us one night of free camp
We planned a food drive for our community and gave all of the Grafton Girl Scouts the opportunity to help us.  We collected enough food to feed 300 people for one week. Which is approximately 4200 pounds of food (more than 2 tons).  We even got our picture in 2 of the local papers.
We played Bingo with a group of local disabled people, prepared dinner with them. We made prizes and puzzles books for all of the clients so that everyone had something to take home.
We had a Bike Rally for all of the Brownie troops in our Service Unit.  We had them go through a safety course and on a bike ride.
We are had our Mother/Daughter year end dinner at Damons in Mequon, way to go Erin for 2nd place in trivia!
We went camping up at Crystal Lake house and had a water fight, did some crafts, had an huge icky spider in the fireplace. We had a great time!
What have we done in our second year as Cadettes?
We again baked cookies for St Bens shelter in Milwaukee
We had another successful cookie sale and had a cookie booth again and earned another free night at camp
We helped planned the food drive again for our community
We had a Brownie Fun Day at Centennial Park that was a great success
We went to the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells for a nights stay and tons of water fun!
We've been working hard on some of the Silver Award Requirements and hope to finish up our Silver before we bridge next year.
What have we done our third year as Cadettes?
We tried really hard to finish up our Silver Award but our project was a bust, we didn't get enough younger girls to sign up so we had to cancel our event.  We did not have enough time to plan another event.  We did at least earn all the other awards that were pre-requisites for the Silver Award..
We went to the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells again for a nights stay and tons of water fun!
We created and donated book marks for the veterans.
We had a two night over night camping trip in fall of 2004
We had a troop fundraiser creating cookie and soup recipes in mason jars to sell for Christmas gifts to family and friends.  It was a great success!
We helped with the Father/Daughter dance.  We helped with creating decorations, planning the event, making posters and working during the dance.  It was a great event.
We enjoyed another Mother/Daughter dinner.  This year we went to Outback steak house.
